Available: We have two adorable puppies available. Candy will be a vibrant orange color and Bunny will be a cream sable. Both have wonderful, outgoing personalities, are quite sturdy and would make a great family member. The girls should be ready for their new families in late Feb./early March. Please contact us soon if you are interested in one of these two cutie pies. Their pet price is $3,000.

Available: A friend has a boy almost 8 mos. old that will be on the larger side as an adult (lots of requests for larger size). He has had all of his vaccinations, microchipped, loves water, lead trained, and is sweet as can be. Pictures coming soon.

Available: Looking for a performance prospect? We have an available deep orange/red sable girl that would be great for agility or FAST CAT. She is very athletic. Her performance price is $3,000.

Please fill out and return a completed puppy application to be considered for a puppy. Serious inquiries only. Click on the orange box above.

PRICE: Generally, pet companions are $3,000-$3,500.

If you are looking for a show prospect, feel free to reach out to us. We should know you from the show ring or be able to provide at least two references from someone I know who shows. If you are interested in learning more about showing, and are looking to start, maybe we can help.

PUPPY HOLD POLICY: We can hold a puppy for a reasonable amount of time with a non-refundable $500 deposit, which will get applied to the price. If you decide to wait, it will roll over to the next available litter. If for some reason the background check does not check-out or does not meet with our approval, we retain the right to return the deposit and end consideration.

WAITING LIST: Beginning in 2024, we will only keep a waiting list and contact those who place a deposit. Otherwise, you can apply for an available puppy listed on our website. (Note: we rarely have an avail. puppy; most times they have been planned, with a new family in waiting or for our show prospect, prior to a breeding).

PROCESS: Once your family is approved, and after a background check has been conducted, we can add you to our waiting list and contact you when a puppy becomes available (within your parameters specified on the application) or hold an available puppy for you. If you are open to both sexes, any size, and/or any color, obviously that helps. However, feel free to keep an eye on our website and contact us should you be interested in an avail. puppy. Please understand we only ever breed 1-3 litters/year (sometimes none), so we do not place many puppies. We are able to take 1 deposit for our upcoming, planned litter. Placing a deposit puts your name on the list, but there is no guarantee a puppy will be avail. in the current litter as Poms have very small litters (usually only 1 or 2) and sometimes mother nature happens, also after our evaluation for our show prospect. Tenacity usually prevails as we often get quite busy (especially in the summer), travel often and forget. You will not bug us; feel free to reach out anytime as we appreciate reminder notes.😊

PICK-UP: Please note we do not ship our puppies. You are welcome to come to our home to pick up your new puppy. This is preferred (especially if there are children in the home) as we like to go over techniques for holding a small puppy properly, discuss feeding and grooming, go over other relevant info., etc. If it works with everyone's schedule, we may meet at the Greensboro, NC Airport, but note it is a two hour (one way) drive for us. The other airport somewhat near us (also a two hour one way drive), is Charlotte, NC, but it is a very busy, pain in the butt to park/meet. However, this might be a good option if you plan to fly in and rent a car to come to our home.

SHOW PROSPECTS: I should know you from the show ring. If not, you should be able to provide references from at least two people I know that shows.

TRANSPORT: We MAY be able to assist with transport if our trusted friend is in the area. Transport is normally $450-$550 and must be paid upfront to book the transport. This can be done via Zelle or by sending a check in the mail (allow 10 days for check to clear prior to transport being scheduled). There are too many horrible people in this world to trust someone will show up if he/she did not already pay for his/her puppy. Can you imagine us paying out of pocket to book a transport, having a puppy travel for hours and hours only to not have the new family show up?! Believe me it happens! People try to scam us all the time. *Puppy must also be paid for BEFORE he or she leaves our home. Some banks that offer Zelle are not approving funds for purchases made over a certain amount, so you will need to get it approved or figure out other payment means PRIOR TO booking the transport service (if sending a check, allow 10 days for checks to clear prior to transport being scheduled). It is possible to obtain a cashier's check and over night it to us, but it must be received during business hours in order for us to get to our bank to clear the check prior to scheduling a transport.

WHY DO POMS COST SO MUCH? Trust me when I say show breeders do NOT make a profit placing a few puppies a year. This is a hobby for us and there are A LOT OF COSTS involved with breeding quality dogs, in the multiple thousands. A c-section is between $2,500-$5,000! This does not include routine care such as a sonograph, which is $400, xrays normally $200-$300, not including the vet visit cost and other routine costs. There may also be a stud fee on top of that, which on average is $1,000-$2,000. Most times Poms only have 1 or 2 puppies and sometimes no survivors at all. :( Showing is where a TON of money is spent and we spend on average about $15,000-$20,000/year, not including the cost of the price of an RV, insurance, etc. This involves a lot of travel/stay, gas, entry fees, equipment cost, etc. None of these costs include health testing by veterinarian specialists, OFA fees, routine vet care, monthly heartworm, flea/tick prevention, quality food, vitamins/supplements, play pens, toys, mats, grooming supplies, fencing, chew bones/treats, fresh fruits/veggies, etc. Our monthly costs are quite high. This means we must go without for ourselves a lot of times, so no shopping for new clothes, LOL. Why do we do it as we must be absolutely nuts?! We love the breed and enjoy connecting and visiting with other Pom fanciers. Our goal is to offset some of the costs. Now, this is not the same for backyard breeders who do not show or provide exceptional care for their dogs. It makes a difference! Always support small, ethical hobby show breeders, NOT backyard breeders.

Dangers for Pomeranians

Pomeranians are small and will require you to puppy proof your home. Just like a toddler, take note puppies will try to eat just about everything that will fit in their mouths. Also, do not place them where they can fall off and get injured. It is best to not allow puppies on furniture/bed until they AT LEAST 4lbs. and AT LEAST 1 year of age.

*Note: Puppies and small dogs should NEVER be left alone with children under 12 years of age. ALWAYS supervise children with animals, no matter what kind. Puppies are not unlike a newborn baby.

Did you know????

*There is no such thing as a teacup Pom!

*The merle pattern has a much higher chance of having health problems. Merles should never be bred with another merle or white/cream. Far too often backyard breeders breed merles to phantom merles (merles that do not look merle and must be genetic tested) and the result is a blind, deaf, or both blind and deaf litter of puppies.

*Blue eyes (or any speck of blue in the eyes at all) is a disqualification.

We are a very small in-home hobby show home, focusing on preservation breeding to keep the special qualities that make a Pomeranian a Pomeranian. We strive to produce happy, healthy family members first and foremost. We only offer puppies as beloved pet companions to responsible families or as show prospects for approved, experienced show homes, NOT for backyard breeding or mixed breeding! All potential homes are heavily screened and background checked. Generally, puppies go home at 10 weeks. If a puppy is on the smaller side, he/she will stay longer (usually 12-14 weeks). Show prospects usually stay with us until 16-24 weeks.

Potty Training

Potty training a puppy is much like potty training a toddler. A puppy will need to go pee-pee often and taken to the same place to go potty. This instills repetition and confidence. Puppies have very small bladders! After each meal and nap, you will need to offer the puppy a chance to relieve him/herself. If you are unable to do this due to work, school, etc., I suggest using an enclosed crate and/or pee-pee pads until you get home and continue the training. It is not uncommon for a Pom (especially a smaller one) to not fully potty train until around 6 months of age. The larger ones tend to potty train easier because they have larger bladders.

Love...love...love...pets

Do your part and do not purchase from a puppy mill or backyard breeder. These animals live horrible lives and you may end up with a mentally disturbed animal. We DO NOT sell to puppy mills or backyard/mix breeders, only approved pet/companion and approved show/hobby homes.

If buying online, We recommend you NOT wire money or use a cash service, etc. Instead, insist on paying via PayPal, which is much safer and provides a record to help protect you. Or, send a personal check (note, it will need to clear prior to receiving a puppy). There are A LOT of puppy buyer scammers as well, so we have to protect ourselves as well.

Be Choosy (and be careful); Do not get swindled!

Far too often we see VERY poorly bred Poms being sold by backyard breeders and puppy mills, sometimes for cheap prices and other times for the same price as quality bred Poms, putting bad genes into the gene pool and giving Poms a bad reputation for health issues. While affordability is always a consideration (and it should be) please, please be careful. Often times, these breeders are uneducated about the breed and are breeding already poorly bred Poms together, most times mixed with other breeds in their pedigree. A trained eye can often tell this by just a photo, but an unsuspecting family might not be able to spot this. Other breeds in the pedigree brings character flaws in the overall temperament.

**Note: If a breeder is advertising a puppy with no AKC registration papers, and it is an AKC recognized breed...RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! This will mean either 1) there is mixed breeding, health issues with the parents,  the female and/or male is/are too young to breed and the puppies cannot be registered with the AKC, or there is close in-breeding, 2) the backyard breeder is most likely a puppy mill and is breeding too often, in poor conditions and he/she does not want to be inspected, or 3) the breeder is very unethical and is under a spay/neuter contract that does not allow breeding of the pet companion male and/or female Pom that he/she just bred (often for good reason). *It is perfectly fine to supply registration papers after PROOF of spay/neuter because there are a lot of horrible, dishonest people out there.

**Do your part and do not contribute to this unethical practice. Learn as much as you can and be proactive. Together, we can improve the breed. :)
